Our Corporate Finance team provides a range of regulatory and financial advisory and broking services, including pragmatic regulatory advice, pre-IPO fundraisings, IPOs, secondary issues, M&A transactions and public offers.

Through our international network with offices in London and Shanghai, together with associate offices in New York and Johannesburg, we have access to large and varied pools of capital. We currently work with clients globally across a range of sectors including agriculture, consumer, financials, healthcare, industrials, leisure, natural resources, support services and TMT.

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in equity capital markets having previously worked at Barclays de Zoete Wedd, Albert E Sharp Securities, Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Arden Partners, Libertas Capital, Blue Oar Securities and Shore Capital. Since joining VSA, he has headed the corporate finance team overseeing the team’s equity capital markets activities, specialising in regulatory advice, IPOs and RTOs, fund raisings, M&A and public company takeovers.

Simon has extensive experience in corporate finance and equity capital markets. He previously worked at S.G. Warburg and then at KPMG’s corporate finance arm where he led a number of innovative and complex transactions with a particular interest in the technology, media and communications sectors. He has also been CFO of several businesses both quoted and privately-backed where he was involved in M&A activity, deal structuring, fund-raising and investor relations. He has joined VSA as a Director of the corporate finance team with responsibility for activities in equity capital markets, public and private M&A, deal structuring and regulatory advice.
