Aquis Exchange is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer responsible for customer on-boarding and general support as well as maintenance upgrades and projects. The ideal candidate will be part of a team responsible for managing the Aquis network environment including day to day support, client onboarding and support as well as technical upgrade projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Networking concepts and protocols, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric attitude. You will work closely with highly technical internal teams and end-users to ensure the smooth operation of the Aquis systems. This is a key role with huge scope to learn new skills.
• Monitor and support live exchange platforms during operational hours.
• Work closely with Aquis exchange clients from initial onboarding to on-going support and upgrades.
• Participate in a support rota of early/late shifts supporting exchange hours 7am – 6.30pm responding to any operational issues. Additionally, this role requires occasional evening or weekend work to deliver planned maintenance.
• Full lifecycle network upgrade projects from initial conception, racking/patching, configuration, to live infrastructure / support documentation.
• Manage and support network (Cisco / Arista) and security infrastructure (FW’s, VPNs and other security infrastructure).
• Raise and implement network or firewall changes based on tickets and requests from internal teams or external clients.
• Manage relationships and work with vendors to escalate issues when appropriate.
• Assist in the administration of logging and alerting services (Nagios, SolarWinds, etc).
• Ensure that all policies, procedures, and documentation are kept up to date.
• 4+ years’ experience in a network support / engineering role, having achieved relevant qualifications, e.g. CCNP or similar.
• Strong proficiency in the following areas:
• Routing and switching technologies (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• Access control list (ACLs)
• VXLAN EVPN underlay/overlay architectures
• Network monitoring and observability tools e.g., Nagios or SolarWinds
• VPNs and Firewalls (ideally on Fortinet or similar appliances)
• Packet capture and analysis
• Cisco / Arista network hardware
• IP Multicasting experience (PIM, MSDP, IGMP) highly desirable though training will be provided.
• Experience with cloud providers or virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware) desirable
• Experience working with low latency technologies/networks a strong advantage
• Linux administration skills are a bonus, with potential to collaborate with the Linux SA team on crossover projects and support tasks.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgement when solving problems as well as anticipating issues in advance and proposing effective solutions.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with passionate attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skill

Aquis Exchange is looking to hire a Linux Support Engineer to assist with the day-to-day operational monitoring of the Aquis exchange platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing 1st, 2nd & possibly 3rd line Linux technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Linux-based systems. This role requires a strong understanding of Linux environments, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric attitude. You will work closely with highly technical internal teams and end-users to ensure the smooth operation of Linux-based servers and systems. This is a key role with huge scope to learn new skills.
- Responsible, along with other operations analysts, for the day-to-day management of the exchange platforms.
- Provide 1st line support to connected clients
- Work with other departments (Compliance, Surveillance, Infrastructure and Sales) to ensure appropriately monitored live operations of all platforms

• Ensure that all policies, procedures, and documentation are kept up to date.
• Out-of-hour’s work will be required on occasion, including ad-hoc datacentre visits.

Aquis Exchange is seeking a highly capable Cloud & DevOps Engineer to help shape, optimise, and scale our infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply passionate about automation, efficiency, and building resilient systems. You’ll join a small, expert DevOps team working across low-latency trading platforms, cloud environments, and on-prem systems—contributing to both strategic projects and hands-on engineering.
• Build and automate multi-account cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Continuously improve automation across cloud and on-prem environments using Ansible, Python, and supporting tooling.
• Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams to productionise new technologies and workflows.
• Champion and help steer architectural decisions with an emphasis on automation, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Support internal teams with build pipelines, CI/CD systems, virtualised environments, and tooling.
• Assist Linux engineering with deployment, configuration management, and systems operations at scale.
• Lead capacity planning and ensure environments remain scalable across Dev, QA, Test, and Production.
• Maintain clear, current, and high-quality documentation of systems and processes.
• Significant experience gained at a senior level designing, implement and operating hybrid cloud systems on multi-account AWS and GCP environments.
• Advanced DevOps experience including CI/CD, deployment workflows, monitoring, and automation.
• Strong Linux system administration (RedHat/CentOS or similar).
• Demonstrable and extensive scripting/automation experience: Terraform, Python, Bash, Ansible.
• Strong experience with Git, GitLab, deployment systems (AWS CodeDeploy, etc.).
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs).
• Proven experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/ECR).
• Knowledge of infrastructure design patterns, automation best practices, and configuration management principles.

The primary responsibilities of the Operations Analyst will be maintaining and running the Aquis and Aquis client exchange platforms.
- Responsible, along with other operations analysts, for the day-to-day management of the exchange platforms.

In this role you will work with the Product team, Infrastructure team, and QA team, to produce high performance, low latency and highly reliable code. Your goal will be to develop software which handle large amount of TPS to drive a highly efficient technology used by several markets around the world, including ourselves.
• Codes, tests, integrates, and documents software.
• Provides technical leadership to more junior employees and other teams.
