2024 Aquis Showcase

The Aquis Showcase returned for its third year in 2024, bringing together some of Britain’s most exciting growth companies to compete for the votes of retail investors.

Over four quick-fire rounds, 13 companies on the Aquis Stock Exchange pitched their case in eight minutes or less, to an audience of 200+ retail investors and others from the capital markets ecosystem, as well as an expert judging panel of Gervais Willams (Premier Miton), Sam Barton (Close Brothers), Cassie Herlihy (Gresham House) and Charlie Conchie (City AM).

Congratulations to the 2024 winner Marula Mining, presented by CEO Jason Brewer, who impressed the audience with his plans to disrupt and transform the advanced battery market with mines and production facilities across Southern Africa, along with the company’s commitment to the communities in which it operates and the more-than-20 year life span of some of its mines.

Tokenisation firm Valereum was awarded the Retail Choice award for receiving the most audience votes, following a pitch by chief executive Nick Cowan which outlined the company’s ambition to unlock capital and create value in tokenised digital markets, as an exchange and marketplace operator and a leading provider of technology solutions.

The two winners were joined in the final by SulNOx and Newbury Racecourse, each of whom had impressed in the earlier rounds. And with the full line-up praised for its quality by the judging panel, other participating Aquis-quoted companies included Adsure Services, Ananda Developments, EDX Medical Group, Hydrogen Future Industries, Invinity Energy Systems, Mendell Helium, Shepherd Neame, Time To ACT and 2023 winner Equipmake.
