Belvedere Leisure Resorts plc (“BLR”) has listed to raise a minimum of £25m to acquire and develop sites within the UK which will then be operated exclusively by Landal GreenParks (“LGP”) who are a long-standing, well-established, multi-award winning holiday resort operator and destination brand with over 90 locations across 9 countries in the UK/Europe and a key part of the Awaze Group of Companies - Europe’s leading vacation rentals organisation and home to specialist self-catering brands such as Hoseasons, <a href="http://cottages.com">Cottages.com</a>, James Villas & Novasol. The Awaze Group accommodates more than 8m holidaymakers each year and offers more than 110,000 places to stay in 36 countries. BLR has already secured its first site and exclusivity terms on another for acquisition in March 2021; both are located in the stunning Dumfries & Galloway region of South West Scotland and collectively cover circa 200 acres of suitably consented land. Intended to generate early revenue as the first of multiple revenue streams projected throughout the phased development of the sites, Phase 1 is scheduled to open in summer 2021. These signify the first in a series of intended developments in a long-term collaboration between BLR & LGP, framed in a comprehensive, long-term operational management & marketing services contract - an agreement with LGP which is unique to BLR in the UK, resulting in resorts being purpose built and branded as a Landal Green Parks Resort, leveraging both the high brand equity/reputation of LGP and the hugely significant marketing reach of the Awaze Group.
